What we did
I am doing it today since Aiden is away.
Today we worked on note taking. Ms. Lees taught us how to use text features
(bolded words, sections, etc.) and do an outline for note taking. For events,
you use the 3C's: Cause, Course of action, and Consequence. We did the first
chapter using an outline, web, and Cornell Note Taking.
For the people who needed help with geography (time zones and scales) Ms.
Lees was helping them. We did not do any portfolio conversations today but did
a written spelling bee (boys against girls).
Learning Intention
To learn about different types of note taking skills and practice it. In
addition, it made us remember more about the history.
To study for the geography test on Friday.
To study for Canspell next Friday.
Connections
Note taking is a very important skill for studying or reviewing any subject
at school.
